French Service Kepi of Ordnance Engineer General 2nd Class Gerard de Brye
This is a French service kepi worn by Ordnance Engineer General 2nd Class Gerard de Brye (1902-1964). The kepi features two silver stars on the front, distinguishing the 2nd class general rank. An embroidered chinstrap is attached to the front by two general rank side buttons. The kepi body is olive green with a black patent leather visor. On the inside is a manufacturer’s label for Herve Thorax.
