French Navy 2nd Class General Commissar's Visor Cap named to Louis de la Monneraye
This is a French Navy 2nd Class General Commissar's visor cap from the Cold War era (1947-1991). The cap features a navy officer's embroidered cap badge on the front. Below the badge is a gold double corded chinstrap attached by a set of navy side buttons. Around the middle of the cap is a embroidered cap band similar to that of flag officer's but does not include star rank insignia. The cap was worn by General Commissar Louis de la Monneraye. With the cap is the general commissar's shoulder board.
