U.S. Army Officer's Visor Hat from Vietnam Era

This is a dark green United States Army visor worn by a field grade officer. The visor dates to the Vietnam War (1961-1975). It features a ventilated band, gold chinstrap, United States Army officers badge and buttons, and field grade officer’s oak leaves on the visor. The visor is made of plastic but the top portion features felt. The crown of the cap is also made from felt. A label in the interior indicates the manufacturer to be Kingform Cap Inc., of New York.
