German Infantry Combat Badge in Silver

This German WWII (1939-1945) infantry combat badge features a wreath of leaves with the silver army eagle at the top and sitting diagonally across the wreath is an infantry rifle with bayonet fixed. The infantry combat badge was established on December 20, 1939 to recognize infantrymen who have fought in three assaults on the front lines with a hand weapon on three different days.
