German SA Leader's Kepi from Südmark District

This is a German Sturmabteilung (SA) kepi dating to the 1930s. The kepi features a pinkish-red top with a first pattern SA eagle and silver button. The button and top color indicate that this kepi was from the SA Südmark district in Germany.1 Around the flap, which is sewn to the cap body, and crown of the kepi is silver piping, indicating the wearer was a leader.
