This is a British The Royal Hussars (Prince of Wales Own) dress peaked cap from the late Cold War era (1947-1991). The Royal Hussars were created in 1969 when the 10th Royal Hussars (Prince of Wales Own) were amalgamated with the 11th Hussars (Prince Albert's Own). The Royal Hussars were then themselves amalgamated in 1992, becoming The King's Royal Hussars. This cap has The Royal Hussars cap badge on the front and is made from all crimson wool. A plastic chinstrap is attached to the front by a set of silver buttons.
