This is a German Model 1938 paratrooper helmet from World War II (1939-1945). The helmet features a Luftwaffe (Air Force) decal on the left side of the shell slightly painted over with a textured field gray-green finish. On the inside is a paratrooper liner with a leather A-frame chinstrap. The liner is stamped with manufacturer information and size.
