This is a United States Air Force visor hat from the Cold War era (1947-1991). The hat is all white and with a green and yellow band around the middle, but is missing the cap badge. A plastic chinstrap is attached to the front by a set of gold buttons bearing U.S. coat of arms. On the inside is a small tag that indicates the hat was worn by the Air Police, the military police branch of the Air Force. The tag also shows that the hat was manufactured by Bancroft.
