German Kriegsmarine Admiral's Tropical Visor Cap

This is a German Kriegsmarine (Navy) visor cap worn by an admiral in World War II (1939-1945). It is made from khaki green gabardine cloth and features celleon embroidered eagle, wreath, and oak leaves. All insignia is of officer quality, and the two rows of oak leaves on the visor signify the admiral rank. The chin cords are gold wire fastened by side buttons bearing a fouled anchor. A thin black leather trim is stitched to the edge of the visor.
