German Police Model 1937 Side Cap named to Wachtmeister Janser
This is a Model 1937 garrison cap worn enlisted members of the Nazi police. It is made from blue-green wool with light green crown piping and features a police eagle and wreath insignia on the front. The insignia is machine woven with silver thread and backed with black cloth. Model 1937 police side caps are recognized by a single grommet vent on each side near the top.1 A name tag is stitched under the flap on the left side. It bears the title "Pol. Wachtmeister Janser," or Police Sergeant Janser.
