German Schutzpolizei Officer's Visor Hat
This is German schutzpolizei (protection police) visor hat from World War II (1939-1945). The hat features a second pattern police eagle attached to the front. Above the eagle is a German national cockade. Below the eagle is a silver double corded chinstrap fastened to the front by a set of silver peddled buttons. The rest of the hat is green wool with light green piping and a dark brown hat band. On the inside is a sweat diamond with a Peter Kupper manufacturer’s logo.
