Chinese Winter Field Cap of the 8th Route Army
This is a winter field cap worn by a soldier of the 8th Route Army during the late 1930s through World War II (1939-1945). The 8th Route Army was a communist unit attached to the Chinese National Revolutionary Army (NRA) that combated the Japanese invasion. The cap is made from white padded cloth with short brim and features a metal NRA cap badge on the front.
