Paul Ireland's M-1 Parachutist Helmet with Camouflage Cover
This Vietnam Era M-1 helmet belonged to paratrooper Paul M. Ireland. The Firestone manufactured nylon liner is complete with 1964 dated headband and “A” frame parachutist chinstrap. The Mitchell leaf pattern camouflage cover is dated to 1965 and reversed to the brown side.
